Reema Chanco Biography

Reema Chanco is a Filipino actress, and was born in Manila, Philippines. She appeared in a movie entitles “ICU Bed #7,” which was shown in 2005. She is a graduate of a course in Organizational Communications and Marketing Management at De La Salle University. Her career started in the TV show “The Exchange,” in TV 5 which tasked her to stay in the Czech Republic and a counterpart from there also stayed here in the Philippines for a while.

After that show, Reema also appeared in other shows such as “Trabaho Lang,” for five seasons, “Space” shown on Destiny Cable, Juice Channel, ‘G Force,” on ANC Channel, “Extra Challenge,” on GMA 7. Reema also joined the MTV Veejay Hunt, and is also a host of the K-Girls on RX93.1FM station. But Reema is more than just a beautiful face, a celebrity athlete and a popular TV personality; she is more than other an enthusiast of several charitable institutions. She really loves to be involved in charity works because she says it’s not really every day that you get to have the chance to help other needy people. Reema wants to do activities for a cause and she just waits for the chance to grab the opportunity when it’s there. She even once volunteered to be a waitress in one charity event and served and Italian yogurt.

This company donates 50 percent of a day’s earnings each month to a particular charity that is supported by the celebrity server. The PAWS, Philippine Animal Welfare Society is a 54 year old institution that is being supported by Reema. This accommodates animals like cats and dogs that were either abandoned or experienced cruelty. The White Hat has been doing this for a couple of years now, giving a portion of their revenues to deserving charitable institutions.

Reema is also known to be sporty and athletic, and since she is also a certified suspension trainer, she offers classes during weekdays at her residence located in Makati. She explains that the use of a trainer can enhance different muscles by just shifting or changing the body’s angle. Reema also shares that it is safer than using weights and other equipment in the gym because the body has a natural way of protecting itself.

She says that it always pays to be healthy and fit, and even women who have just given birth can try this technique as long as her doctor allows her to. Reema’s friend trainer Johnny Besa also holds classes down Dasmarinas Village Gym and Manila Polo Club.
