Nadia Montenegro Shares How She Reconciled With Annabelle RamaAfter the longstanding feud between Annabelle Rama and Nadia Montenegro was revealed to have ended, Montenegro now shared how she reconciled with Rama.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the former actress revealed that she or Rama did not plan the reconciliation at all.
“Nothing was planned. I guess talagang we prayed so hard for it. I was going through my own battles, she was going through her own battles, her sadness because of the loss,” Montenegro said.
Rama ran for a congressional seat in Cebu City but failed in the last election.
“For some weird reason, I told the kids on the way here (San Juan court), sabi ko, 'Smile at Tita Annabelle,' and then she smiled back. And then ayon, 'I told them to kiss her, give her a kiss,' and they all stood up, the three of them, to kiss her, and she started talking to them as if nothing happened, and so I said, 'Ah, this is the right time,’” Montenegro added.
“So I approached her and gave her a kiss also, and we ended up hugging each other and crying. So i knew it was okay na,” she continued.
Montenegro is well on her way to dropping all her cases against Rama. Just this Tuesday, she filed an affidavit of desistance, a filing that means a plaintiff will no longer pursue a lawsuit, in a court in San Juan City. The affidavit results in the dropping of 2 lawsuits Montenegro has against Rama.
Montenegro filed 26 lawsuits all in all against Rama but the former actress is set to drop all her cases against the celebrity manager in courts located in Quezon City, Pasig, Makati and Caloocan.
