Sarah Geronimo Surprised By The Box-Office Performance Of "It Takes A Man And A Woman"Sarah Geronimo was told that her movie with John Lloyd Cruz, "It Takes A Man And A Woman," would no longer beat the record set by 2012's "Sisterakas."
However, the viewing public suprised her when the Cathy Garcia-Molina film garnered P401 million, in the process beating the Vice Ganda and Kris Aquino starrer. Geronimo said she though her film wouldn't beat "Sisterakas" anymore.
"Sobrang grabe ito… thank you Lord, at thank you sa lahat ng humabol pang manood."
Next year, it is expected that Geronimo and Cruz will be named the "Phenomenal Box-Office Stars" of the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Inc. since "It Takes A Man And A Woman" is now the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time.
As early as now, the Pop Star Princess is already thanking those who made it all possible. But he said that there are no plans yet to do another movie with Cruz because it would be hard to follow-up "It Takes A Man And A Woman."
For now, the Pop Star Princess is busy taping for "The Voice Of The Philippines." She will be one of the mentor-judges together with Lea Salonga, Bamboo Manalac and Apl de Ap.
Although her new role as a mentor-judge is challenging, she knows that she will learn a lot from the show. "Masarap sa pakiramdam na makakatulong ka na matupad naman ang pangarap ng ibang tao."
Geronimo also reported that her rumored weekly drama program is now shelved because of "The Voice Of The Philippines." She will also be making another album and will start practicing for her anniversary concert next year.
