Toni Gonzaga Readies Herself In Case Boyfriend Paul Soriano ProposesAlthough she admitted to not being ready to settle down because of certain career obligations, Toni Gonzaga said she will probably accept her boyfriend Paul Soriano if he decides to propose.
The singer-actress said Soriano is sometimes getting impatient because he has already wanted to settle down for a long time. However, Gonzaga still has to finish her current contract with her home network, ABS-CBN.
She feels though that the day of her getting married will come sooner. The time will come when she will be ready to enter the next chapter in her life, she said.
But for now, she clarified that Soriano hasn't proposed to her yet. And if ever he does, the singer-actress said she will tell the public all about it.
“Ang pag-aasawa naman darating na lang 'yan ke me kontrata o wala."
Gonzaga seems to have everything--a successful career, a loving boyfriend and a supportive family. What more can she ask for?
The actress, singer, TV host and endorser said people's wants are insatiable. She added that people will always feel that there's something missing in their lives even though they seem to have everything.
“I think it’s not about one thing. Whatever it is that I still don’t have, I think the key to having a happy life or yung kuntento ka sa buhay mo is not everything you have. It’s having everything that you need."
She cannot say that she has everything she wants in her life now, but Gonzaga feels certainly blessed for having everything she might need to become happy.
Meanwhile, the singer-actress will be hosting a cooking reality show entitled "Kuwentong Buhay, Kuwentong Kusina" starting June 23 at 9AM.
Aside from the recipes that will be featured in the show, Gonzaga said they will also have "featured Kapamilya" guests who will tell their real-life struggles.
Although she doesn't really know how to cook, Gonzaga believes she will learn a lot as the show goes on. Last year, she took a short culinary arts course to learn the basics of cooking and baking.
But in "Kuwentong Buhay, Kuwentong Kusina," Gonzaga learned how to cook kare-kare sulipan style from Chef Jim.
Every episode, the show will feature different chefs who will teach the viewers different recipes. On their first episode, the show will have Chef Jim as their guest.
Asked if she cooks for Soriano, Gonzaga said she usually prepared tacos and the like for him since he loves Mexican food. Also, she added that she has been able to cook soups and garlic pasta for him.
