Makati Courts Told Kris Aquino And James Yap To Stop Making Comments In MediaA Makati court released a gag order against TV host-actress Kris Aquino and her ex-husband, basketball player James Yap, in connection to their family problem.
The court is preventing both Aquino and Yap from making any public pronouncements about the petitions they filed against each other.
Aquino filed a temporary protection order (TPO) against Yap while the basketball player filed a hold departure order (HDO) against the President's youngest sister.
The court will reportedly decide on the HDO filed by Yap today at 3 p.m.
According to Aquino's TPO, Yap allegedly "overstep his boundaries and of attempting to seduce her while visiting her home, and of inflicting psychological harm on their son Bimby."
Yap denied the allegations, and said that the incident that happened on December 3 was just a joke between him and Aquino.
Aquino, however, said that Yap acted as he was still entitled to his matrimonial rights. The cager apparently entered her room without her consent.
Bimby, their five-year-old son, reportedly saw the whole incident.
On Thursday, Aquino gave a tell-all interview. Her sisters were with her during the interview.
She also resigned from all her shows, and will be leaving the country over the weekend.
Aquino has three shows with ABS-CBN--Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw, Kris TV and Pilipinas Got Talent.
Yap's legal counsel, Lorna Kapunan, said the HDO will not stop Aquino and Bimby from leaving the country. The order would instead require her to notify Yap where she is taking their son.
Yap's camp also said the case should have not been discussed in the media.
