Jasmine Curtis Defers To Sam Concepcion When Asked About Their Alleged RelationshipIt would be better for the media to ask Sam Concepcion about the real score between him and TV5 actress Jasmine Curtis.
The actress said it would not be proper for her to answer their alleged romance since it was Concepcion who admitted his special feelings for Anne Curtis' younger sister.
"Parang ang sagwa namang tingnan kung babae ang magsasalita in-terms of that. Kasi siyempre, you know, as a lady, you compose yourself high, may maganda kang posture. Literally and figuritavely."
She, however, said that Concepcion has always been special to her because they were long-time friends. The two have been the talk of the town since they remain mum about the status of their relationship.
Curtis said she has many similarities with Concepcion. They are both funny and nice, she added. They are also hard working.
Concepcion is an artist of the Kapamilya network while Curtis decided to go with the Kapatid network. She is open to working with the singer-actor just in case a good project arises.
However, she will always rely and prioritize what her network and management want for her, Curtis said. "Kung ano talaga ang maikakaganda ng career ko, doon na ko."
When it comes to managing their times (Curtis is both acting and studying AB Communication at the Ateneo de Manila University), the actress said she is learning how to work and study at the same time.
It can be remembered that she chose to finish high school in Australia first before going home to the Philippines to pursue her showbiz career.
She also decided to take up a college course instead of going full-time in acting. For now, she only has four subjects, so it is easier for her to manage her time. Next year though, the actress may have to choose a major already.
Curtis always wanted to study in a Loyola college since her school in Australia was from the same ideology. Basically, Ateneo is the perfect fit for her, she said.
It was easier for her to adjust in terms of the school culture since the traditions and values are almost the same during her high school days in Australia and now in Ateneo.
"I know for sure, hindi siya madali. I entered it, knowing the sacrifices I have to make in terms of social life... family time." The Kapatid network also helped her in managing her time, she added.
Curtis will star as a "gadget girl" in TV5's new action series "Undercover" after two years since she finished her series "Nandito Ako."
She feels blessed to play a character that's close to her heart. Curtis loves watching programs like "CSI" and "NCIS," and always wanted to play a tough girl character.
In "Undercover," she will apparently trace websites and access CCTV cameras. She will also dress dorkily as opposed to her fashionista image.
