James Yap Says He Should Have Been Consulted About Bimby’s First MovieJames Yap expressed on Tuesday that he hopes he was consulted about his son’s debut movie project.
Asked by ABS-CBN News what he thinks about his son, James Yap Jr., doing a movie which will be entered in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival, Yap was initially reserved about giving a comment but later said that he wishes he was consulted before the project was given the go ahead.
All he wants, Yap said, is that he be respected as the father of his son who was nicknamed Bimby by Aquino after the couple had a falling out.
So sana man lang i-consult or ipaalam man lang.
Bimby will be making a movie with his mother Kris Aquino titled “Torky and My Little Bossing,” a film which will also feature child actress and host Ryzza Mae Dizon and Philippine comedy and TV icon Vic Sotto.
Meanwhile, Yap and Aquino on Monday revealed that they have settled on how they will conduct visits of Yap to his son.
The former couple refused to give details about what was agreed upon in court but both said that they are happy with what transpired.
Yap told ABS-CBN News in the interview that all he hopes for now is for people to move on and for him and Aquino to do a better job at being parents for their son.
Iyon lang ang pinagdadasal ko talaga,” Yap, who has recently been in the news for posting photos on Instagram of his rumored Italian girlfriend, said.
