Rayver Cruz Dates Bb. Pilipinas 2013 Candidate Imelda SchweighartIt has been quite long since Rayver Cruz went out with another woman after his breakup with actress Cristine Reyes. And lately, pictures of him and Bb. Pilipinas 2013 candidate Imelda Schweighart, or most commonly known as Imee Heart, surfaced on social networking site Facebook.
In one of the pictures posted on Schweighart wall, Cruz was seen embracing the beauty queen and aspiring actress. Schweighart was a one-time co-host of Willie Revillame in his now defunct noontime show, "Will Time Big Time."
Schweighart clarified that she and Cruz are just friends, and immediately deleted the photo on her Facebook account. According to sources, the two have been dating for about a month. They have also known each other for quite a while since Cruz met Schweighart through their common friends.
They are apparently seen in different places. Sometimes, they are also together with Cruz's brother, Rodjun, and his girlfriend.
Schweighart was Revillame's co-host in "Will Time Big Time," and was a former talent of Star Magic, the talent arm of ABS-CBN.
During an interview, Schweighart said she was only 15 years old when she co-hosted "Will Time Big Time." She was seemingly overwhelmed by the task of hosting a noontime show, and she didn't have enough exposure.
However, Revillame was very supportive of her, and even gave her pointers on how to interact with the audience. "Tanggalin ko raw ang pagiging mahiyain ko and go with the flow. Because of that, natuto po ako and I owe that to Kuya Willie."
When she decided to try her hand at acting, Revillame understood and supported her decision. She said she cannot forget the host's "generosity" and how he helped her. Up to know, she frequently communicates with him to tell him she hopes to work with him again in the future.
After "Will Time Big Time," Schweighart became part of Viva Artists Agency and was included in TV5's youth-oriented series "Bagets: Just Got Lucky." She was also part of Viva Channel's "Wapak!."
Schweighart grew up in Puerto Princesa in Palawan together with her Filipina mother, German father and brother. At first, her family was opposed to her moving to Manila to study and enter showbiz. However, they soon gave in to her dreams and supported her decision.
When she came to Manila, a "whole new life" opened for her. She was a "body double" in many commercials, and she was not afraid to admit that.
"If I want to succeed, I need to start at the bottom. Hindi naman po lahat ay sinusuwerte sa simula lang. Mas maraming kailangan na to work their way up from nothing. For me, that is much more rewarding."
Those jobs helped the beauty queen save up and bring her mother and brother to Manila, so they can live with her, she said.
Schweighart also wants to be a singer, she added. She writes her own songs and dreams of recording those someday.
Although she enjoyed joining a beauty pageant, hosting and acting, what she really wants is to make music, Schweighart added.
