LJ Reyes Still Doesn't Want To Talk About Paulo AvelinoLJ Reyes is not ready to divulge the real score between her and partner Paulo Avelino. She refused to answer questions whether or not they have already separated.
Before, the two were very vocal about their relationship and their son, Aki. But ever since they were rumored to have separated, they remained mum about the real deal between the two of them.
Reyes said there are still things to settle between them, so she cannot tell anyone what really happened. Also, they have to talk about a lot of things. She will divulge the real score once everything is settled, she said.
But despite the negative rumors about their relationship, the actress was quick to point out that Avelino is a great father to their son. He also told her he will attend their son's birthday on July 24.
A lot has changed in Avelino. When before he was open to discussing his family life, he has lately snapped at reporters when asked about Reyes and Aki. The actress said experiences changed a person. She didn't say if she was referring to Avelino.
When asked if she still loves Avelino, Reyes said she will always love the people who have been part of her life. Besides, what's important is that she never lost the respect she has for the actor, especially as a father to her son.
She also said the levels of love may change, but the love will still be there. Asked if the level of love she has for Avelino decreased, the actress just laughed.
Reyes said though she is still hopeful that "good things" will come in the end.
For now, the actress is busy with her new show "Prinsesa ng Masa" with Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica. She will play a contrabida as opposed to her usual "nice role." The last show she did was "Aso ni San Roque."
She then thanked GMA-7 for still providing acting opportunities for her despite getting pregnant in the midst of her supposed rise to fame. In truth, Reyes knew it was hard for someone like her to come back to showbiz but still, GMA took care of her career the best way they know how.
Also, she felt blessed for being given with good projects--ones that have been well-thought of. She stayed in showbiz because of her love for acting and dancing. Whenever she's not in front of the camera, she missed performing for an audience.
Now that she has her own business already, Reyes can say that showbiz is really just her craft and passion, and not her bread and butter.
