Rafael Rosell Is Staying Single For NowStaying single made the past years the greatest of Rafael Rosell’s life, he said during an interview with PEP.PH.
Rosell said he is not into relationships these days, although he “loves girls.” His philosophy is to love life always.
“Tulad ng philosophy ko, yung philosophy ko sa Twitter na love life above all, as in always.”
He said relationships take away focus from his life. When he is in a relationship, Rosell always focuses on the woman and forgets about everything.
“So far, it’s been the greatest years of my life… single.” That is why he won’t be spending the Holy Week with anyone special.
The actor said he might just go to Singapore with his mother or stay in Manila since it’s so quiet there during the Holy Week.
But after the Holy Week, Rosell said he will definitely go surfing since he has just finished taping for GMA’s Temptation of Wife.
The actor said he cannot yet reveal what his next project with GMA would be. The cast of Temptation of Wife will go on a US and Canada tour. The media noticed that Rosell seems to be happier with his new network. He was a former talent of ABS-CBN.
But the actor clarified that being unhappy was never the reason why he transferred to GMA. He said it was the right move for his career at the time.
“Lumipat ako because I was looking for change. So, nahanap ko yung change that brought me happiness rin.”
Rosell said he had an inkling former Kapamilya star Christian Bautista will also transfer networks.
“Actually, I saw that coming but don’t tell anyone, but put it down on record na.”
He talked with Bautista a week after he transferred, so he thought already if the singer will also be transferring to GMA. However, he put it off his mind since he doesn’t really have any evidence. Then one day, Bautista called him up and asked him how he did it. Rosell told him to just follow his heart.
A few weeks after that, Rosell learned that Bautista already signed the contract with GMA.
They are now together on the Sunday variety show, Party Pilipinas.
Before he transferred, Rosell went on a journey alone, prayed a lot and realized he needed a change of environment.
He said all artists who transfer networks are only looking for change and more opportunities.
Rosell also shared his future plans. He is aiming to establish an organic medical health clinic. “Dahil I have been on this weird soul journey for the past two years kasi, at nag-stop na akong maniwala sa mga chemicals.”
He believes in healthy eating, and that the food that one eats is his/her medicine.
“You don’t need to take chemicals for you to feel good. You don’t need to take this artificially-made chemicals para gumaling ka.”
For now, Rosell is into pure organic eating. But he added that he cannot give up chocolates since he loves sweets.
