Paras Kids Say Appeals Of Mom Jackie Forster Are Only For PublicityAndre and Kobe Paras believe that the appeals made by their biological mother Jackie Forster are only for the public and not them.
This was related by the siblings in a Viva Artists Agency contract signing press conference on Thursday.
Andre, now a UP Fighting Maroons basketball player, said “I can say it's not for us,” referring to a YouTube video their Forster made showing a montage of photos of Andre and Kobe with messages in captions.
"It's for the public. You can tell it's for the public, because if she wants it to be for us, she could, like, send it personally,” 17-year-old said.
After Andre said this, Kobe, his 15-year-old brother who plays for La Salle Greenhills, audibly agreed, a report from ABS-CBN News says.
Andre also said in the interview that they have asked Forster to stop releasing her pleas in public about a possible reunion with her kids. However, it appears that their mother is not listening, Andre said.
“We told her to stop before and I don't know what... I mean, we told her to stop, and what she's doing now, parang it doesn't... It's not sinking in [for] her. So 'yun, nakakainis lang talaga, eh. Now, she's not listening talaga,” Andre is quoted as saying.
Earlier this month, Andre and Kobe revealed that they want their mother to give them space because of the “trauma” they experienced with her.
Forster has said in reaction that she does not know what could have caused the “trauma” Andre and Kobe are talking about.
Meanwhile, Kobe had some even harsher words for their biological mother.
“Wala, I don't care, kasi I'm happy with the life I have now. I have a new mom, she's better and she treats us the way that we want to, and not like what she [their biological mother] did to us,” Andre said.
“I'm happy with my life and I'm just focusing on the good side. I won't focus on the bad side, because past is the past, and we're already ahead to the future. I'm just going to focus now, and I'm not going to mind it,” Kobe added.
Benjie Paras is now married to Lyxen Diomampo who he has two kids – Sam, 3, and Riley, 6 – with. Forster moved to Singapore in 2007 and then moved to Malaysia here she has a family with her Dutch husband.
Meanwhile, here’s the video Forster made for her sons.
