JC De Vera Signs Two-Year Contract With ABS-CBNJC de Vera is now a Kapamilya after spending much of his showbiz career with GMA-7 and then, with TV5. De Vera said it is a "dream come true" to be part of ABS-CBN.
In fact, de Vera will be starting to tape for his first teleserye in August. Present during the contract signing were ABS-CBN President and CEO Charo Santos-Concio, broadcast head Cory Vidanes, business unit head Deo Endrinal and TV production head Laurenti Dyogi.
The actor admitted he is both nervous and excited to be part of the Kapamilya network. He is looking forward to the roles and characters the network will give to him. It doesn't matter if it's action, drama or comedy, de Vera said he will attack all those roles with passion.
“I am very willing to do all the projects the management will offer."
De Vera started in the showbiz industry in 2003 as a talent of GMA-7. He was with the Kapuso network until 2010 when he left for TV5 following an issue between his manager Annabelle Rama and GMA-7 executive Wilma Galvante.
As a Kapatid, his last project was "Cassandra." Before he entered into negotiations with ABS-CBN, he decided to leave Rama and went to the management of Leo Dominguez.
