Odd Fact: Charice Brings Rice Cooker Wherever She GoesIt is an odd but amusing discovery. Charice brings rice cooker wherever she goes. This is a fact that was shared by no less than the international singing sensation herself. She disclosed that she never goes out of her house without taking with her a rice cooker, whether she’s going to a performance or checking in at a hotel abroad.
Why would she do that? PinoyStop learned that Charice prefers to eat her rice warm. She also makes sure she brings chicken-pork adobo and paksiw na bangus, which are her favorite dishes. According to a close friend of Charice, she has always done that from the time she started in the business until now that she is sporting her new image.
Even when she was in the US, she has never failed to make sure that she takes her rice cooker and her favorite dishes with her. That was the reason why she is not fond of eating out or eating at the hotel, especially when it doesn’t serve rice and her favorite dishes.
Her friends take this as an indication that despite all the happened, Charice has never changed. She still prefers the food that she has grown to love over the years.
Charice is set to leave the country for the US last July 29. She is slated to fulfill several commitments there. You have guessed it right. She is again taking her rice cooker with her. It is not clear whom she is flying with, but for sure she is taking somebody who knows how to cook her favorite Filipino dishes.
Meanwhile, Charice has already agreed to feature her life story in GMA-7 drama show ‘Magpakailanman.’ She has already started taping for the special episode. The show’s production team revealed that she would resume taping when she gets back from the US.
This odd behavior is not unique to Charice. Several other local celebrities take with them several kitchen appliances wherever they go. For one, Gretchen Barretto is known for taking her microwave oven whenever she goes to tapings. She also loves using oven toaster to prepare sandwiches for her co-stars and for the production people.
