Kathryn Bernardo Saddened By Thought Of Saying Goodbye To Daniel Padilla And Their Love TeamKathryn Bernardo has admitted that the mere thought of leaving her love team with Daniel Padilla saddens her.
The admission was made by the actress as she was interviewed by members of the press during a press conference as an endorser for Juicy Cologne.
Showing that she understands that sooner or later she would have to make a name for herself without relying on her very popular love team with Padilla, the young actress said, “The time will come when Daniel and I have to team up with other artists; I can’t do anything about that. That’s how things go in show biz; I have to accept it.”
“The very thought of parting with Daniel makes me sad, especially because we’ve become close,” she added.
Nonetheless, to the thousands of young people who are fans, she had this to say, “But when that happens, I assure fans that nothing will change.”
She is also confident that their fans will continue to support her and Padilla even if they are not paired anymore. She said that this is what is great with their fans as they do not support the actors only as a pair.
“What’s good about our fans is that they don’t support us only as a pair. They also follow our individual pursuits,” she said, according to a report from the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
So what happens when she parts ways with Padilla? Bernardo was asked who she would want to do projects with as a leading man.
According to her, she “would love to work with John Lloyd Cruz, Piolo Pascual, Vilma Santos and Ronaldo Valdez someday.”
