Judy Ann Santos Is Expected To Sign Contract With TV5Sources said ABS-CBN's primetime queen Judy Ann Santos is set to sign a contract with TV5. Supposedly, she wouldn't wait for ABS-CBN's counter offer.
Reports came out earlier that Santos wasn't in good terms with the Kapamilya management because they moved her comeback teleserye, "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala," to a later timeslot. It was earlier bumped because of "Muling Buksan Ang Puso."
When it was scheduled to be moved to an even later timeslot because of Daniel Padilla's "Got To Believe," Santos apparently put down her foot and told the management that she wants her teleserye to end prematurely. That's the reason why the teleserye will be ending in two weeks.
Sam Milby, one of Santos' co-stars in "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala," denied the allegations that the reason why the teleserye's airing will be cut soon is because it was only scheduled for one season. The teleserye premiered on June 17 and will end on August 23.
"Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala" is pitted against GMA-7's phenomenal "My Husband's Lover."
Alfie Lorenzo, Santos' longtime manager, earlier admitted his ward will soon be meeting with TV5's Manny Pangilinan. Ryan Agoncillo also reportedly felt bad for his wife and told her that she doesn’t have to feel sorry for herself. He also said that they couldn’t really count to some of their supposed “friends” in showbiz.
