JC De Vera Joins Angel Locsin's New Teleserye In ABS-CBN
The actor recently inked a two-year contract with ABS-CBN after spending most of his time with GMA-7 and TV5.
De Vera confirmed the news during his guesting on "The Buzz" last Sunday (August 11). The said teleserye, titled "Hanggang Kailan Kita Mamahalin," will also star Christopher de Leon, Maria Isabel Lopez, Rio Locsin, Mark Gil, Odette Khan, Bernard Palanca and Joem Bascon.
Reports said the teleserye will have a romance drama theme with Locsin and Salvador vying for the affections of Rosales, who was recently engaged to his real-life girlfriend Kim Jones. No further details have been released by ABS-CBN.
De Vera supposedly replaced the role vacated by Jake Cuenca, who had to commit to the remake of "Maria Mercedes" with Jessy Mendiola and Jason Abalos. The actor's entrance to the Kapamilya network was just right especially since a number of teleseryes are lined up for this year.
He is reported to start taping for the series this August although other reports indicated he may start working later this year since the teleserye will be airing early next year.
The actor said he is excited to be working with the cast of "Hanggang Kailan Kita Mamahalin" since he will be with his showbiz crush, Salvador. He will also be working with award-winning actress, Locsin, and other veteran artists.
Aside from Salvador, de Vera revealed he also admires Sarah Geronimo and Kim Chiu. All three were linked to Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson.
Shortly after de Vera signed the contract with ABS-CBN, he went on to guest on "Gandang Gabi Vice," which made him a trending topic on Twitter. It featured the actor doing a striptease to Vice Ganda.
