Mark Herras Focuses On His Career First Than His LovelifeMark Herras refused to answer questions about his ex-girlfried Ynna Asistio. He said he doesn't need to answer questions about his lovelife since his priority is his career.
Asistio already transferred to ABS-CBN after being with GMA-7 for a long time. Herras continually refused to answer questions about his breakup with the young actress.
"Siguro focused lang ako lalo sa trabaho. I mean, iyon naman talaga ang goal ko ever since… yung trabaho ko. At saka gusto kong tumagal sa industriyang ito. So, talagang inaayos ko muna lahat sa trabaho.”
Asked if he doesn't miss being with his special someone since he and Asistio have been together for many years, Herras answered in the negative. He said he gets to spend time with his family now and once he focuses on his work, he has no time to think of anything else.
He also has the time to spend with his friends, although the actor clarified he is not open to dating anyone just yet. Herras is not ready to fall in love again and he would much rather focus on his career, which he placed on the back burner for a while since his relationship with Asistio began.
Since they broke up and Asistio transferred to the Kapamilya network, he hasn't gotten the chance to talk with her yet. And from the looks of it, he has no plans to reach out to her.
In the meantime, Herras said there's a new teleserye in the works for him. He doesn't know yet if it will be shown during the daytime or the Kapuso network's primetime slot.
Hopefully, his teleserye will push through, the actor-dancer said. GMA-7 has yet to confirm if the project will move on. Herras also doesn't know yet who the other stars in the teleserye will be.
For now, the actor-dancer is focused on "Sunday All Stars" where he is part of the group led by Rachelle Ann Go. He finds his role in the Sunday noontime show as comforting since he gets to do regional shows. Herras said it's not every day that one gets to tour around the Philippines. So for now, "Sunday All Stars" is what's getting his attention.
