Janno Gibbs Says He's Still Happy With Gma 7Janno Gibbs says she's still happy with Kapuso network, so there's no reason for her to leave GMA-7. He also added that he has no plans to draft a guaranteed contract with the network.
A guaranteed contract is an agreement between the artist and the network about the number of projects that will be given to him/her, as well as the talent fee he/she will be getting.
Gibbs said it's okay that he doesn't have a guarantee contract since he wants to be choosy with his projects. In fact, the singer-actor said he doesn't usually accept projects offered to him unless he's really interested in the plot.
Asked about the transfer of his friends Ogie Alcasid and possibly Michael V. to the Kapatid network, Gibbs said he's really happy for them. For one, he added that Alcasid is really needed by the Kapatid network.
And although Michael V. has yet to transfer networks, he will be making a game show with TV5 in the coming months. "Hindi pa naman ako naghahanap, e. Happy pa naman ako. Gusto ko relax-relax lang."
He and Alcasid were together for a long time in "SOP."
This year, his contract with the Kapuso network will be ending, but Gibbs said he doesn't want to think about what's going to happen after since he wants to savor the moment of having a new series and his hosting stint in "Sunday All Stars."
But of course, he's also open to doing a project with TV5 or ABS-CBN since he also believes in the capacities of the two networks.
Meanwhile, Gibbs will be playing a gay role in "Pyra: Ang Babaeng Apoy." It has been a long time since he was able to play a gay character. The last time was in a segment in "Nuts Entertainment."
He doesn't mind playing a gay role since it can hone his acting skills. Asked if some of Alcasid's old projects went to him, Gibbs denied this and said he may try to guest in "Bubble Gang."
Gibbs said he misses doing a game show. The last program he did was "Power of 10."
