Jake Ejercito Relationship With Andi Eigenmann EndsAlthough they are still friends, Jake Ejercito said his relationship with ex-girlfriend Andi Eigenmann has finally ended.
He said they still talk once in a while, but they haven't been romantically together for a while.
Ejercito is currently in the country to help in the campaign of his father, former President Joseph Estrada, who's running for Manila mayor.
He is also helping his niece, Janella, daughter of Senator Jinggoy Estrada, who's running for San Juan councilor.
When asked about Ellie, Eigenmann's daughter, Ejercito said they didn't really see each other that much when he and the actress were still together.
Ellie is Eigenmann's daughter with actor Albie Casino.
Ejercito, who is studying political science in London, plans something for his mom Laarni Enriquez and Eigenmann's mom, Jaclyn Jose.
Jose and Enriquez had a falling out because of Ejercito and Eigenmann.
"My mom and Tita Jane [Jaclyn], as far as I know, as of now, hindi pa sila nag-uusap. But I’m planning... kasi siyempre naman, kasalanan namin ni Andi kung bakit—it was because of us."
"But they were really good friends naman—si Tita Jane, my mom, and Tita Jane’s sister… si Tita Vero Jones."
Ejercito is hoping that their mothers will reconcile one day .
But when asked if he is planning something to make them speak with each other again, he said it might be too soon for that.
"And in God’s time, in a proper time siguro.”
Ejercito admitted he found it hard to handle the controversy since he is a private person.
Although he came from a family of showbiz royalties, he was still surprised by how people reacted to even his simple tweets.
“So nagulat talaga ako, so at first, I don’t really know how to handle it."
“Apart from that, as much as possible, tahimik na lang para tahimik na lahat.”
He said it was totally unexpected and that it wasn't his fault he fell from someone in showbiz.
Ejercito just turned 23 years old, a ripe age to join showbiz.
But the former president's son said he does not want to join the industry.
“Before, I wanted to, but yung dad ko, ayaw, di ba? Ayaw ng parents ko."
For now, he is busy with his studies and happy being single.
As for his wish during his birthday, Ejercito wants a healthy and longer life for his father, who will turn 76 on April 19, and for his relatives to win in the upcoming elections.
