Nikki Gil Speaks Up About Her Breakup With Billy Crawford

It wasn't until more than a month after their breakup that actress-singer Nikki Gil finally broke her silence on the real reason for her separation from ex-boyfriend Billy Crawford.

She said it was differences in values, remaining vague about the details. She and Crawford have been together for almost five years when the international performer decided to end things with Gil.

Crawford said it was his fault that the relationship ended abruptly, but Gil said it takes two to tango and she had already forgiven Crawford for whatever happened in their relationship. She also didn't answer rumors that the actor-singer was a womanizer and the reason for their breakup was Andi Eigenmann.

For now, Gil is slowly coping after the end of her first serious relationship. It wasn't easy but with the help of her family and friends, she is slowly learning to understand, forgive, accept and move on.

She thanked those who prayed for her and supported her during her time of grief. She noted that even those people she doesn't know personally took time to let her know they are supporting her. Luckily, she has such a prayerful group of family and friends who helped her cope with the breakup.

As for Crawford, he has clearly moved on from the breakup. After more than a week of vacationing with his parents in the United States, the actor-singer came back to "It's Showtime" apparently happier than he has ever been.

Crawford said he greeted Gil "happy birthday" this August. Gil admitted she texted back as well, but all she said was "thank you." Asked if she's ready to be friends with the actor-singer, she said it will take some time before she is able to do that.

As of now, Gil is busy taping for "Maria Mercedes," "MYX" and "ASAP."
