Coco Martin Begs Off Answering Questions About Katherine LunaAward-winning actor Coco Martin didn't want to comment on the DNA test results saying he isn't the father of Katherine Luna's eight year-old daughter.
For so many years, Luna has been saying Martin was the father of her child. And although Martin didn't deny this verbally, he also didn't recognize the child. Some sources, however, said the actor has been financially supporting Luna's daughter ever since he knew about her existence.
He also wants her to have a better life, Martin said.
His manager was the one who took the step to have a DNA test, so that they can prove once and for all that Martin isn't really the father of Luna's daughter.
Meanwhile, Martin arrived solo during the yearly Star Magic ball. When asked why he didn't ask anyone to go to the ball with him, the award-winning actor said it his time to bond with his friends.
He added he didn't ask "Walang Hanggan" partner Julia Montes to the ball because she is too young. Montes came with Enrique Gil at the ball.
Gil is her loveteam partner in ABS-CBN's teleserye "Muling Buksan Ang Puso."
Martin expressed appreciation that viewers continue to watch his fantaserye "Juan Dela Cruz." He said taping for the series is really hard because they have to shoot even amid the bad weather.
However, when he sees how much the viewers appreciate his teleserye, it warms his heart and makes him want to work more.
