Jasmine Curtis-Smith Attends Star Magic Ball With Sam ConcepcionJasmine Curtis-Smith attended the recently held Star Magic Ball with rumored boyfriend Sam Concepcion. This is despite the fact that Jasmine is actually a contract artist of TV5.
Jasmine said she made sure it's okay for TV5 if she will attend the said ball. Luckily, the Kapatid network gave their go-signal to the young actress.
It was a fun night, Jasmine said, and she really enjoyed it with Sam and some of their other friends. Her sister, Anne, however, was not in the ball because of some out-of-the-country commitments.
Asked if their attending the ball together means they are already a couple, Jasmine said it only just confirmed they went to the event together. She still refused to confirm any relationship between her and the actor.
Sam will be part of the Cosmo Bachelor Bash this coming September 24. Jasmine said she was invited to attend this year, so she will be coming to the said event.
She wasn't sure, however, if Sam will be walking the runway with only his undies on. She asked if JC de Vera will be there. Jasmine said she's proud of JC, who she considers her "kuya."
Meanwhile, Jasmine won't be able to come to the international screening of her first indie film "Transit" in Busan, South Korea. The movie was where Jasmine won as the best supporting actress during the 9th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.
She will be taking her finals that same week. Jasmine is taking a course in Communications at the Ateneo de Manila University. She feels bad that she won't be able to attend the international screening of her indie film. But if she will be given the heads up that she'll also win an award, she is willing to fly to South Korea immediately.
The festival will fall on the same week as her finals. However, Jasmine said that if she has no exam on the last day of that finals week, she will try to fly to South Korea so she can watch her film make its international debut.
Her sister, Anne, was very happy for her when she heard she won the best supporting actress award at the Cinemalaya fest. When Anne watched the movie, she already thought her sister deserves to win an award.
Compared to her sister, Jasmine believes she has an advantage because TV5, being a newbie in the industry, is giving her a lot of challenging roles.
Asked if she is planning to transfer to another network since her contract with TV5 is bound to end in November, Jasmine said she wants to sign another contract with the Kapatid network because they are very lenient with her schedule. They respect that the actress is studying and is intent on finishing her course.
