Marian Rivera Vows She Won’t Have A Broken FamilyMarian Rivera is a product of a broken home but the actress is resolved to keep that from happening when she has a family of her own.
The revelation was revealed by the Kapuso star in an interview with Kapamilya network’s Showbiz Inside Report’s Carmina Villaroel.
May nanay at tatay, may mga anak,” she said during the interview.
Rivera’s father is Spanish and her mom is a Filipina. Her parents separated when she was 2 years old.
Rivera was raised by her grandmother in Cavite where her family moved after the divorce. Her mother had to leave the country to work to have money for her family.
Recently, Rivera revealed that she makes it a point to take care of her grandmother who raised her. She revealed she usually goes out with her grandmother once a week to do the groceries and buy the things her grandmother likes.
The actress, recently dubbed the “Kapuso Primetime Queen”, said that her mother has come home to the Philippines from the UK and that she now has 30 apartments in Bacoor, Cavite.
Meanwhile, Rivera also talked about her relationship with actor Dingdong Dantes who recently signed another five-year exclusive contract with GMA and was dubbed the “Kapuso Primetime King”.
As for her as a girlfriend, Rivera would like to think she is the type to give her all in a relationship. She also described herself as a “sweet girlfriend”.
Villaroel also asked Rivera when she and Dantes plan to have a wedding. The actress said they are “getting there” and have discussed marriage.
“Napag-uusapan namin 'yan, at bilang babae, gusto ko talagang magkaroon ng isang pamilya at maraming anak,” she said.
