"Anna Karenina" Ends Strongly By Entering The Top 5 Most Watched Shows

GMA-7's "Anna Karenina" ended on a high note as it got a rating of 24.6% during its final episode on September 20 (Friday). This is the first time a non-ABS-CBN show got into the top five most watched television shows in the country.

On the other hand, other Kapuso primetime series such as "Prinsesa Ng Buhay Ko" and "Kahit Nasaan Ka Man" premiered strongly on September 23 (Monday) and placed on number 11 and number nine, respectively.

ABS-CBN's "Juan Dela Cruz" maintained its stronghold on the primetime period, however.

Here are the top 20 programs for September 20 (Friday) and September 23 (Monday) according to Kantar Media:

On September 20 (Friday): "Juan Dela Cruz" (30.8%), "TV Patrol" (29.6%), "Got To Believe" (28.6%), "Annaliza" (27%), "Anna Karenina" (24.6%), "Be Careful With My Heart" (21%), "24 Oras" (19.8%), "Muling Buksan Ang Puso" (19.3%), "The Love Story of Kang Chi" (16.4%), "Kapamilya Blockbusters" and "Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas" (15.5%), "It's Showtime" (14.5%), "Eat Bulaga" and "Binoy Henyo" (14.4%), "Minute To Win It" (14.2%), "My Husband's Lover" (13.5%), "Dugong Buhay" (12.8%), "Mga Basang Sisiw" (12.4%), "The Ryzza Mae Show" (12.3%), "Pyra Babaeng Apoy" (12.2%), "Hiwaga" (12.1%) and "Maghihintay Pa Rin" (11.8%).

On September 23 (Monday): "Juan Dela Cruz" (33.5%), "TV Patrol" (31.5%), "Got To Believe" (27.6%), "Annaliza" (27.3%), "24 Oras" (20.9%), "Be Careful With My Heart" (20.5%), "Muling Buksan Ang Puso" (18.3%), "Kapamilya Blockbusters" (17.4%), "Kahit Nasaan Ka Man" (17.2%), "Eat Bulaga" (16%), "It's Showtime" and "Prinsesa Ng Buhay Ko" (15.1%), "The Love Story of Kang Chi" (14.7%), "Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas" (14.1%), "Minute To Win It" (13.5%), "The Ryzza Mae Show" (13.3%), "Dugong Buhay" (13.1%), "My Husband's Lover" (12%), "Mga Basang Sisiw" (11.8%), "Wish Upon A Star" and "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin" (10.9%) and "Pyra Babaeng Apoy" (10.5%).
