Kim Chiu And Xian Lim Return To Primetime BidaIt has been months since the public last saw Kim Chiu and Xian Lim together in a teleserye. Now, Kim confirmed ABS-CBN has offered another project to their loveteam.
They were last seen together in the top-rating "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" and the box-office film "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?" But because of the clamor from their fans, called KimXi, the Kapamilya network decided to do another teleserye starring Kim and Xian.
The on-screen couple is thankful to their fans for the support they have been giving them. Kim said they are happy with the development in their careers, especially since they will be making another teleserye.
According to ABS-CBN executive Deo Endrinal, the fans successfully made "KimXi" trend in Twitter every day.
"Saka, di biro magpa-trend, kailangan ang dami-daming mag-uusap para ipa-trend nila. Nagpapasalamat kami sa mga sumusuporta sa amin at thankful kami sa bagong project namin."
Asked about her comments regarding some KimXi fans' hate mails to ABS-CBN, the actress said she is sure these did not come from their fans.
Kim said they are excited for their next teleserye because it's quite different from the ones they did before--romantic-comedy "My Binondo Girl" and heavy drama "Ina, Kapatid, Anak." The actress added the concept is new and exciting. They are proud to offer this teleserye to their loyal fans.
Now, they are still on the pitching stage. She already met some of the would-be casts, and she hopes they will all agree to do their roles. But as with every teleserye, the actress said she is still nervous about this one even though it has been proven that she is a success when it comes to teleseryes and even movies.
"Lahat naman siguro ng tatangunin nating artista, may pressure talaga. Wala lang, huwag mo munang isipin yung pressure habang ginagawa mo yung serye. Kasi, baka pag naunahan ng kaba, baka pangit."
Meanwhile, Kim still refused to talk about her relationship with Xian. She said they are happy to spend time together especially because there are a lot of out-of-town shows lately.
The actress took the time also to thank her fans who watched her special "Wansapanataym" month-long special. It was extended to one Saturday so instead of just running for the whole month of September, the first Saturday of October will also be included in the special run of Kim's episodes.
