Coleen Garcia Says There's No Malice In "Sweet" Photos Of Her And Billy CrawfordEver since Billy Crawford and Nikki Gil broke up, TV host Coleen Garcia's name has been dragged into the issue. Some said she's the third party to the breakup, although both Billy and Coleen denied her involvement.
Nikki, on the other hand, never commented on the said issue.
But lately, pictures of Billy and Coleen went viral on the Internet. The series of photos, purportedly taken in Bacolod while "It's Showtime" has a show there, showed Billy's arms around Coleen's shoulders. It also showed the two of them hugging.
Coleen didn't deny the existence of the photos, but she insisted there was no malice in them holding hands and Billy wrapping his arms around her. As a "family" in "It's Showtime," it's only natural for them to be that close, the TV host said. She added that she hugs Vice Ganda and Teddy Corpuz the same way.
"I don’t think there’s anything different with that, and it was stretched a lot."
Asked if Billy is courting her, Coleen answered in the negative, but said they do go out as a group. The TV host is currently single. Her previous boyfriends were Gab Valenciano and Enrique Gil.
Coleen said having a boyfriend is not in her mind right now since she's focused on her career. She has been single for almost a year now, ever since she decided to break it off with Gab, who went to Florida to pursue his studies.
Meanwhile, Coleen shared that she recently visited her co-host Kuya Kim Atienza, who is suffering from Guillain Barre disease, a rare autoimmune disorder that attacks the nervous system.
At first, Coleen didn't know about Kuya Kim's illness. However, she texted Teddy and asked him where they were. Teddy revealed they just came from Kuya Kim, who was in the ICU (intensive care unit).
After their rehearsal, she immediately went to the hospital to visit Kuya Kim. While in the ICU, Coleen was amazed at how Kuya Kim is handling his illness. He was even explaining to them about the disease.
"Si Kuya Kim, he’s a fighter and I admire that about him. I’m very confident that he will get better."
Coleen said Kuya Kim was every bit the trivia man even though he was lying on a hospital bed, fighting for his life.
"We were so worried about him but, at the same time, he was very calm, he was very okay about it. Ang dami niyang sinasabi."
The TV host said she really admires Kuya Kim's fighting spirit.
Coleen is recently part of "She's The One," which starred Enrique, Dingdong Dantes and Bea Alonzo. She was very thankful for all those who watched the film, and added that she's very happy to be a part of it.
She played Dingdong's girlfriend in the movie. It was just a cameo role, but Coleen said she's very excited for the opportunities that may come her way because of it.
