Billy Crawford Shrugs Off Alleged Sweet Photos Of Him And Coleen GarciaBilly Crawford shook his head at the rumors insisting he has a relationship with his "It's Showtime" co-host Coleen Garcia. The singer-performer said anybody can think what they like but the most important thing is both of them know the truth.
The two have been linked to each other since Billy broke off with his long-time girlfriend Nikki Gil. After Billy and Coleen denied the issue, the rumors died down a little but not until pictures of them in a bar in Bacolod came out on the Internet.
In the pictures, the two were shown standing close to each other, with one of them looking like Coleen was hugging Billy while the latter has his arms around her. Coleen already said there was nothing unusual about this since they are like a "family" in the show.
Billy, for his part, said they weren't alone in the bar since they were together with the other casts of the noontime show. And since they were in a club, it couldn't be helped that Billy had to stand close to Coleen if he's talking to her since she may not be able to hear him.
"You know what, wala nang makakababa sa akin. I’m in a much better state right now."
He also denied that he's courting the young actress-TV host, adding that he's enjoying the time being single. He admitted though that he cannot control what other people may think about them. He advised the rumormongers to just relax and enjoy their lives instead of judging him and Coleen.
Meanwhile, he cannot help but comment on the breakup of one of his closest friends Luis Manzano and Jennylyn Mercado. He said he has been there for Luis throughout the ordeal, and he is happy for him and whatever the decision he and Jennylyn made regarding their relationship.
Billy then joked that since a lot of people are questioning his sexual identity after saying he was "confused," he and Luis might end up together now that they are both single.
He then shared what his "It's Showtime" co-host Kuya Kim Atienza has been going through after being diagnosed with Guillain-Barre disease, a rare form of autoimmune disorder that attacks the nervous system.
Billy said he is proud of his co-host because he's a very strong person who has gone through so much. When they visited him in the hospital, he was touched to know that Kuya Kim is doing all he can to get better and be a part of the show's anniversary special.
The whole staff and crew of the show know what Kuya Kim is going through, Billy said. That's why they always remind him to take it slow when it comes to his triathlons.
He reported that the TV host is feeling better and doing better when they visited him. He was even the one to explain to them what happens during an attack to one's nervous system.
"Malakas siya sa Diyos. He has a wonderful family, friends, sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa kanya, nagpapalakas sa kanya."
