Claudine Barretto Posts Message Of Support For Parents

Claudine Barretto expressed her support for parents Inday and Miguel through a Facebook post. This is seemingly in reply to the statement earlier sent by her eldest sister Gretchen against their mother.

Claudine said she's very thankful that Miguel and Inday were her parents and she wouldn't have it any other way. She added that their friends and family all love them very much, and they should not listen to the hurtful allegations of some people.

The actress said she, Mitchie and Gia are all grateful to their parents. It is noticeable that Claudine didn't include Gretchen, Marjorie and JJ, her other siblings.

The siblings had an earlier rift wherein Mitchie and Gia sided with Claudine while Marjorie and JJ sided with Gretchen. Marjorie even said Claudine's drug abuse broke their family apart.

Miguel and Inday have always been there for Claudine, who her other siblings refer to as their parents' "favorite." They were there when Claudine was criticized after the death of her ex-boyfriend Rico Yan, as well as the time ABS-CBN let go of her as a talent.

Now that she is facing the issues with Gretchen and estranged husband Raymart Santiago, the Barretto matriarch and patriarch remain to be on the side of their youngest daughter. Gretchen said this is all because of money; because Claudine continues to provide for their parents.

Earlier this week, Inday came out with a statement saying Gretchen loves to spread lies about her and that she thrives on character assassination. Gretchen answered back and listed several issues against her mother, who she tags as an abuser.

Meanwhile, in Gretchen's latest Instagram post, someone asked her if she will attend her mother's funeral when she passes away. The actress emphatically said she won't.
