Gabby Concepcion Shares Feelings About Having Five DaughtersGabby Concepcion is proud of her daughters KC, Garrie and Cloie because they remain close to each other even though they have different mothers.
The comeback actor is especially proud of KC who is very responsible. According to him, back when they were young, he made it a point to take a picture of them together, so that they will have memories of each other.
Gabby said even though his daughters did not grow up with him, it hurts him that he isn't able to see all of them when he wants. He has five children—KC with Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Garrie with Grace Ibuna, Cloie with Jenny Syquia and Samantha Alexis and Savannah with wife Genevieve Gonzalez.
As a father, Gabby said it warms his heart to see his daughters together and enjoying the company of each other.
Meanwhile, he admitted KC's closer to him because they are both in showbiz. They talk anything under the sun such as beach, diving, swimming, kayaking and boating.
They don't talk about their personal relationships though, so Gabby isn't aware of KC's suitors such as Paulo Avelino and lately, NBA star Chandler Parsons.
Gabby said he doesn't want to meddle into KC's affairs. Besides, he doesn't think his daughters want to tell those personal things to him. "Kasi, for them, I’m the only man in their lives. To me, they’re the only girls in my life."
When it comes to opening up to him, Gabby said he just waits if his daughters are ready to tell him what's wrong. That's the time when he would ask them what happened and he would advise them about things.
He doesn't interfere in their lives, especially if they are not asking for his help. Gabby feels it is his duty to be their "knight in shining armor."
"Whether directly or indirectly, nakakausap ko sila, nabibigyan ko sila ng pointers kung ano ang dapat nilang gawin, kasi parang nagiging casual na lang."
As a father, he wants to give them the best advice a father can give to his daughters, Gabby said.
