Ryan Agoncillo Hosts First Game Show On GMA-7Ryan Agoncillo will host his very first game show, "Picture! Picture!," on GMA-7. He said though that he has not signed an exclusive contract yet with the Kapuso network because he doesn't want to get tied down to just one network.
Aside from "Picture! Picture!," Ryan is also a regular of "Eat Bulaga," the longest running noontime show on television.
Ryan clarified though that he is not going to sign any exclusive contract since he is following what Michael V. and Vic Sotto did. That way, he can still accept projects from other networks.
The TV host prioritizes his family, especially his children--Yohan and Lucho. Ryan doesn't want to commit himself to projects left and right because he wants to spend as much time as with his children.
Although he appreciates the projects coming his way, especially since he has to pay the tuition fees of his children, Ryan said he has to schedule his programs well so that he will have time for family.
Of course, Ryan also doesn't want to give up his time for "Eat Bulaga" since he is committed to it. "So there’s a little complication, but I hope it gets ironed out. Though, sa ngayon, per show muna because of the time constraints."
Ryan has been around three television networks: "Unang Hirit" on GMA-7, eight shows with ABS-CBN from 2001 to 2009 and "Talentadong Pinoy" on TV5. There was a time when he was doing "Talentadong Pinoy" with TV5 and yet, he was also with ABS-CBN's "Fear Factor" and "George and Cecil."
And then in 2009, he became a part of "Eat Bulaga." There was a time that he was involved with the three major stations. It was a good year, Ryan recalled.
"Picture! Picture!" was already offered to him a while ago, but the TV host wanted to finish "Talentadong Pinoy" first. It wasn't that hard to accept the game show because the negotiations went smoothly.
For now, Ryan will stay with GMA-7 because of the game show. But he clarified that he is still open to other offers from other networks.
"I mean, I’d like to believe na maganda yung relationship ko sa mga stations na napagtatrabahuhan ko."
How about acting? Is Ryan open to doing teleseryes and the like? The TV host said he's open to the possibility of being part of a drama series since that's where he met Judy Ann Santos.
Ryan and Juday were partnered in 2004-2005's "Krystala." Ryan was also part of the last episode of GMA-7's "My Husband's Lover."
As long as it's not going to interfere with his "Eat Bulaga" schedule, Ryan said he's ready to do it.
This Christmas, Juday and Ryan are both free to spend their time together since they don't have entries to the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival. In the last few years, either him and Juday was busy taping for MMFF during this period.
"At excited kami to just really celebrate Christmas dito sa Pilipinas."
