Cristine Reyes Says Sorry For Rowdy Behavior In Recent “It’s Showtime”, “Gandang Gabi Vice” AppearancesCristine Reyes has expressed regret for her behavior in her recent appearances on “It’s Showtime” and “Gandang Gabi Vice”.
Reyes said that her behavior was “maharot” after she received flak on social media after the guest appearances.
She said, “Sorry kasi minsan lumalabas talaga 'yung pag-magaslaw at pagkamalikot kaya behave ako ngayon.”
She noted that she was also just excited and that she was tense during her appearance on “It’s Showtime” on Saturday.
She said she was acting normal on “Gandang Gabi Vice” on Sunday but on “It’s Showtime,” she was tense because it was live, early in the morning and had a big audience. “Dapat perfect ka doon dahil live 'yon kaya medyo tense ako,” she added.
According to her, her comment that her breakup with close friend and erstwhile boyfriend Derek Ramsay was for “press release” purposes only was only a joke.
“Joke lang ‘yon,” she said after she received criticism for the comment.
She also added that people are still not used to seeing her as herself. She said that people do not know that in reality, she is “playful” and “mapagbiro”.
“Kung alam lang nila kung gaano ako ka-kikay, actually tamed pa 'yung sa TV,” she said.
She also denied that she was drunk during her appearances.
Doesn’t Mind Being Called ‘Bad Girl’
Meanwhile, Reyes admitted she does not mind being called the “bad girl of showbiz”.
“I don't mind, bad girl, good girl, I don't mind. At least may title,” she noted, a report from ABS-CBN News says.
“Hindi ko tinitignan siya as negative kasi medyo astig ako na tao. Gusto ko nga 'yung title na bad girl pero mukhang sinasabi nila eh good girl na ako,” she added.
However, what she would mind would be to be called a “playgirl”. She said she is not.
The actress noted that it’s just that people sometimes get to believe the roles portrayed by celebrities are the real them.
