Bea Alonzo Is Ready For Another "Good Year"

Bea Alonzo had a good year this 2013. Aside from two box-office hits, "Four Sisters And A Wedding" and "She's The One," the actress has also been busy with various shows and was gearing up for another soap opera early next year.

"Four Sisters and a Wedding" was the movie she starred in with Enchong Dee, Shaina Magdayao, Toni Gonzaga and Angel Locsin middle of this year. The same with "She's The One" with Dingdong Dantes and Enrique Gil, these two films were part of Star Cinema's 20th anniversary offering.

In January, Bea is expecting her new soap to start rolling. This was slightly pushed back because of what happened during Typhoon Yolanda. She has no idea yet who she will be with in the said soap although she is hoping all their schedules will fit, so that she can work with these actors and actresses.

It has been such a long time since she made a soap opera with the kind of theme similar to Kristine Hermosa's and Jericho Rosales' highly successful "Pangako Sa'Yo." The last time Bea did something akin to that was "Maging Sino Ka Man" in 2006 with John Lloyd Cruz.

This soap opera is something that was missed by the public--having characters such as "Pangako Sa'Yo's" Amor Powers, Bea said. Amor Powers was played by Eula Valdez. She was the mother of Kristine's character, Yna Macaspac.

Next year, Bea is also expected to do another film. Is she ready to be part of the indie industry? Bea said there are already offers for her to do something like that but she will have to wait for ABS-CBN's approval first.

She trusts Star Cinema in choosing the right kind of movie for her. The actress shared that there are times she doesn't think a role will fit her but then, she will do it because of Star Cinema. By the end of the film, she will realize that the role did fit her.

Meanwhile, Bea refused to share what she did for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. She'd rather not brag about it, the actress added.

In her own little way, she was able to help the typhoon victims. She is sure that a lot of people did their share as well.

Because of what happened, Bea learned how to appreciate the blessings coming in her life. When she's watching the television, she cannot help but appreciate all the blessings, the people she has in her life.

"Kumbaga, parang minsan nga sabi ko, ba’t parang napakasuwerte kong tao para everything in my life right now, parang sobrang okay, alam mo yun?"

"Siguro, kaya ganito yung pakiramdam ko ngayon, ganito yung aura ko ngayon, it’s because… it’s because I have learned to count my blessings."

Bea shared that she was the one to bridge the gap between her loveteam partner John Lloyd and her bestfriend Shaina Magdayao. The two separated in April 2012, and some said it was a nasty breakup.

But during Bea's birthday party in October, she was able to invite both John Lloyd and his current girlfriend Angelica Panganiban, and Shaina with Piolo Pascual. In fact, they were invited, too, during Zanjoe Marudo's birthday.

Zanjoe is Bea's current boyfriend.

Bea said she doesn't choose who to invite or not. For her, they are both her friends and it's up to them if they want to attend her party or not. Thankfully, the two gave her importance enough to be there in her party.

Reports said John Lloyd was the one who approached Shaina during the party.
