Charice Claims No Truth To Suicide Try, Says She Still Loves LifeCharice Pempengco broke her silence on Tuesday and denied that there is any truth to a rumor started by her grandmother that she recently tried to off herself.
In a statement, Charice said that these past few days, she was trying hard not to speak about her alleged suicide attempt over what was claimed to be her bankruptcy.
The international singer said that this is now the time to refute that rumor, a report from ABS-CBN, where the singer’s statement was sent to by the singer’s manager, said.
Charice said she did not try to kill herself and that she actually has more to live for now.
“Mahal ko po ang buhay ko, lalo pa nga't malaya ko nang naipapahayag ang totoong ako,” she said.
Furthermore, she said that she is not broke. She claimed, “At mayroon pa rin po akong naitatagong pera.”
What Charice was referring to by saying she is free to express her real self is her coming out last June which made waves across the world.
She has also been very open about her relationship with Alyssa Quijano.
Currently, Charice is at odds with her family because of her move.
Needless to say, the singer still expressed hope that she would eventually reconcile with her family.
She said that she is currently working really hard because she loves her family and that even though their situation may be a mess at the moment, “umaasa po akong magiging okay kami sa nalalapit na panahon.”
She added, “Magihintay po ako ng kapatawaran ng Mommy kahit kalian.” She also said that she is still saving money because it is her joy to bring joy to her mother and her brother Carl.
Charice thanked people saying, “Salamat po sa pang-unawa at suporta ninyo.”
