Nash Aguas Is The Next Daniel PadillaMany have been saying that ABS-CBN's child actor Nash Aguas is the next Daniel Padilla. But for Nash, he is already feeling pressured just by the mere mention that he might become the network's next Daniel Padilla.
Although he is elated that people think he can follow the footsteps of its teen king, Nash said his primary purpose in acting is really just to show his skills.
Even when he was still little, acting has been Nash's focus. He wants to learn more about how he can improve his acting skills. He also wants to do as many shows as he can, so his acting can develop more.
He is happy with the feedback he has been getting from the public when it comes to the roles he portrayed for "Maalaala Mo Kaya." He is not expecting to hear praises from the viewers, the actor said.
Nash shared that even on Twitter, some of the celebrities greet him on his acting, one of which is Jason Abalos. "Nakakatuwa kasi na-a-appreciate nila yung hard work ko sa mga ginagawa kong project."
For now, Nash is busy with the afternoon show "LUV U," but he added that there are projects lined up for him already by the network.
As for his New Year's resolution, Nash shared he wants to tone down on being "makulit," especially when it comes to his mother. "Siguro yun, babawasan ko sa kanya kulit ko."
Aside from this, the actor also wants to hold a charity event every Christmas. Last week, they went to the Department of Social Welfare and Development in behalf of the Sunday musical variety show, "ASAP." That was the first time Nash did a charity event and saw for himself the victims of Typhoon Yolanda.
He shared it is a different feeling to know you have touched someone's life by your mere presence. Christmas, he added, should be extended beyond one's family.
"Ang gusto ko lang—maging maganda, walang magkasakit, ganun lang. Yung maging happy lang, wala masyadong problems, so dapat chill lang."
