Kris Aquino Praying For ‘Guidance And Wisdom’ As She Mulls Leaving ABS-CBNKris Aquino is asking for divine guidance as she thinks over leaving the Kapamilya Network to become either a Kapuso or a Kapatid.
In a post on Instagram of an image of Jesus Christ, the actress who is vacationing in London with her sons Joshua and Bimby said that she is going to mass at noon.
She said that she is bringing back her “Sacred Heart of Jesus devotion” and will be saying “THANK YOU for the blessing of P300 million +++ in the box office for My Little Bossings.”
What a report from ABS-CBN focused on, however, is the fact that Aquino said she will be asking for “GUIDANCE & WISDOM”.
Amid recent reports that the queen of talk shows is mulling a transfer from ABS-CBN to either GMA 7 or TV5, Aquino said in the Instagram post that she is considering two things.
One is what will be “most beneficial for my 2 sons” and the other is “what you, my audience, wants.”
It seems that the vacation in London is not merely to go abroad and enjoy travelling with her sons but also to be away from the showbiz spotlight in the country to really think about her next move.
“That's why it's good for me to be away now, to just be w/ my sons, so that I can reflect very carefully,” she said.
Recently, reports surfaced that Aquino has offers from GMA 7 and TV5.
If Aquino transfers to GMA 7, she will first be doing a sitcom with Vic Sotto, her co-star in the recent Metro Manila Film Festival entry “My Little Bossings”.
According to some reports, she has asked for guidance from Tony Tuviera, the president of TAPE Inc which produces Eat Bulaga!, the iconic noon-time show which is reaching two decades airing with GMA. As such, Tuviera is really well-connected in GMA 7.
Other reports say Aquino also has an offer from TV5 which is really tempting since she is being asked to be an executive of the network. And it’s not just any executive position, reports citing sources close to the negotiation with Aquino say that she is being tapped to be the President of the Kapatid network.
