Bianca Gonzalez Is Not In A Rush To Marry Boyfriend JC IntalTV host Bianca Gonzalez said she's not in a hurry to marry her boyfriend of three years, Barako Bull Energy small forward/shooting guard JC Intal.
Bianca said it is hard for her to answer questions if they are planning to get married already since she's not the one who's supposed to answer that. All she can say is she's not in a rush to settle down.
They are also not engaged yet, contrary to the rumors. Bianca said she's proud of JC for deciding to invest in a house and lot even before they got together as a couple. She said that she wants to get married first before having children with the basketball star.
"Nagkataon lang na noong na-build, nandito na ‘ko. So, I’m very proud of him.”
As a man, Bianca said the house is a preparation for JC to someday be a padre de pamilya. However, what she's really proud of her boyfriend was how hands-on he is even in choosing what lights should be used in his new house.
Although they talked about getting married in the future, there were never any serious talks about their plans and when they are going to settle down.
What they are seriously considering though is going to a Discovery Weekend, a "right of passage" for couples who are seriously thinking about getting married.
According to the experiences of Bianca's friends, they should embark on a Discovery Weekend even before they get engaged.
She has a friend who took the Discovery Weekend before getting into a relationship only to end up breaking with his/her partner in the end. Bianca said that is a waste of money and resources.
Bianca said she's very lucky if JC is "the one" for her. "But then, yun nga, ang hirap magsalita nang tapos, lalo na kung ikaw ang babae. I don’t wanna be assuming or feeling, pero ayoko rin ng pa-Maria Clara… yung sapat lang."
There are days when she feels she's ready to get married and then there are days when she thinks it's not the right time for her yet. From what she heard from her friends, Bianca said nobody can ever say he/she is ready to settle down. There will always be doubts, and marriage is a "leap of faith."
These questions came after Bianca's ex-boyfriend Lino Cayetano married Fille Cainglet of the Ateneo de Manila volleyball team.
She earlier revealed that she helped Lino woo and pursue his wife, Fille. Bianca knew even before that Lino will be proposing to his then girlfriend.
"It wasn’t really instant, although it was a whirlwind romance. I knew their relationship early on, kasi nga, we’re in touch, and I’m super close pa rin with the family."
When Lino was still pursuing Fille, Bianca was the one who gave him tips. She knew Fille even before Lino pursued her.
Bianca, however, was not in the wedding since it's a small gathering of friends and family.
The TV host remained close to Lino and the Cayetano family even though they are not together anymore. Bianca said they did not talk for three years after their marriage, so when they met again, the failed relationship was so long ago it was irrelevant already.
Bianca is like an adopted sister of the Cayetano siblings, so she said it is almost "incest" for her when she remembered about being with Lino in the past.
Of her ex-boyfriends, it is only Lino who she kept in touch with--and it's most probably because of she got attached to his siblings.
