Judy Ann Santos Will Host Reality Show "I Do"Actress/TV host Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo will host the new reality show "I Do," which will feature couples who want to tie the knot already. The show was originally conceptualized by ABS-CBN.
Judy Ann was the one who led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, blessing and tour of the "I Do" village. The village is wherein the couples will reside and their relationship will be tested by different challenges.
"This village was especially built for this show. We will give the couples challenges not to break them apart, but to strengthen their relationship so they become more mature in dealing with life."
The actress/TV hopes the program will be able to guide the couples and help them get to know each other before finally tying the knot. Also, the program will immerse them in every possible situation that will be faced by married couples.
Similar with the network's other reality shows like "Pinoy Big Brother," participating couples in "I Do" will also have their movements tracked by cameras 24/7.
This is the first time Judy Ann will host a show such as "I Do." She described it as "Pinoy Big Brother" times five. Some issues that will be tackled are having kids, living with their in-laws and even expenses and budgeting.
"We hope we inspire couples and show them that marriage is an eternal vow and a commitment."
Aside from hosting the show, Judy Ann will also participate as a homemaker, together with love and family experts. They will be giving advices to the couples.
Judy Ann admitted it's not easy for her to host the show, and that she's feeling pressured because she doesn't think she has the authority to give advices when it comes to marriage. The actress/TV host has only been married to TV host Ryan Agoncillo for five years.
However, she is glad to be doing a show that no one has ever done before.
Aside from Judy Ann, the event at the "I Do" village was also attended by TV production head Laurenti Dyogi, the program's business unit head Mercee Gonzales and other executives from the network's TV entertainment division.
The winning pair of the show will be rewarded with a grand wedding, a honeymoon package, a new house and lot, car and P1 million in cash.
Judy Ann was awarded as the Best Reality Show Host at the PMPC Star Awards for TV. She previously hosted "Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition" and "MasterChef Pinoy Edition."
The actress/TV host is currently at the helm of top-rating game show "Bet On Your Baby."
