Glaiza De Castro Answers Sexuality IssueKapuso actress Glaiza de Castro answers questions about her sexuality. She denied that she is a lesbian.
Ever since 2010, Glaiza has been reported as a lesbian because she was not involved with anyone in showbiz. Her name was only linked with Felix Roco and Carlo Aquino in the past.
Glaiza said she really wants to have a boyfriend, but she's choosy because she wants her boyfriend to be "the one" already. She's also very idealistic, and that's why it's hard for her to find someone, the actress added.
In fact, she did not heed her parents once and had a boyfriend, but that relationship did not last. She added that everything just needs proper timing.
Her career has been on hold lately ever since the unsuccessful run of "Genesis," which only aired 55 episodes. It starred Dingdong Dantes and Rhian Ramos. The teleserye ended on December 27 last year.
For now, she's busy promoting the indie film "Cattleya," which she stars in alongside Jonalyn Viray. It was commercially released last February 5.
Glaiza celebrated her 26th birthday at the Child Haus (Center for Health Improvement and Life Development), a care center for kids in Quezon City. She had a lavish birthday celebration last year, so she decided to have a simpler and more meaningful one now.
"Hindi naman po kailangan taon-taon bongga. Sa mga nangyayari sa Pilipinas, tama lang po na simple naman this year."
