Anne Curtis Is Not Leaving "It's Showtime" For "Dyesebel"Anne Curtis is less visible now in "It's Showtime" because she is getting ready for her role as "Dyesebel." The media darling clarified that she's not leaving the noontime show, but has to absent for a day or two each week to tape for the new ABS-CBN fantaserye.
The management doesn't want her to leave "It's Showtime," so Anne said the days she's not taping for "Dyesebel" will be devoted to the noontime show. Anne was able to answer questions during the launch of the Viva Films-PBO cable channel partnership at the Platinum Cinema in Gateway Mall last February 5.
"Ang nag-decide naman kasi nun is management. They hold both shows. So, kung ano man ang bilin ng kaitaasan, I just follow."
Anne was chosen to play the role of "Dyesebel" among the many Kapamilya stars being tapped to re-invent Mars Ravelo's most famous character. She beat stars such as Bea Alonzo, Julia Montes, KC Concepcion and Jessy Mendiola for the highly coveted role.
Anne will star alongside Sam Milby and Gerald Anderson. Sam is her ex-boyfriend.
The TV host-actress is currently training in mermaid swimming. They went to Palawan to tape for the show, as well as for the pictorial.
She also shoots a taping for the movie "The Gifted," which will star her alongside Dingdong Dantes and Cristine Reyes.
Asked how she is managing her work schedule, Anne said she has to give up "It's Showtime" for "Dyesebel." But when it comes to "The Gifted," the taping will interchange with the noontime show.
