John Lloyd Cruz Says He Has No Involvement In Vhong Navarro-Cedric Lee Mess

John Lloyd Cruz was understandably shocked when he heard that he has been linked to the controversial mess involving fellow Kapamilya star Vhong Navarro, Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo.

Cruz, in a recent interview, denies that he has anything to do with this.

According to Cruz in an interview with Yahoo! Philippies, it was surprising for him to learn that his name has been dragged into this issue.

However, the link is not without ground at all as Cruz earlier admitted that he has seen Lee at the time Shaina Magdayao was still with him. Magdayao is the sister of Vina Morales who was romantically linked to Lee in the past. Morales has a child with Lee.

Cruz said he was shocked because this is a sensitive issue for his friend (Navarro). What appears to be what Cruz is denying is that he is involved in the mauling/rape issue that’s currently hot news.

When asked to comment about just this, Cruz declined saying that he thinks it is best that he does not give any statement.

“Wala na akong dapat sabihin tungkol diyan,” he said.

He said he does not want to prolong his involvement in the issue because it’s a very sensitive issue. He also really stressed that this may be the last time he will give any sort of comment regarding the matter.

Nonetheless, what Cruz can say is that he supports Navarro amid this dispute. Cruz and Navarro are part of ASAP’s “Kanto Boys”.

According to the actor, he has been in constant contact with Navarro since this whole issue blew up in the news.

Cruz said that he has been regularly telling Navarro and he and other friends are always there for the “It’s Showtime” host.

“Kanina magka-text kami. Masayang-masaya ako na nakauwi na siya,” he told Yahoo!
