Krista Miller Poses For Men’s Magazine
The move by Miller comes after Sunshine Cruz left Montano and also posed for a men’s magazine.
Miller announced her appearance in the May issue of Red magazine on Tuesday, various reports note.
However, during the press conference, Miller stressed that her joining an issue of a men’s magazine is not to compete with anyone else.
“Kung ano man mga natatanggap kong blessings, hindi naman ito about pa rin sa issue or nakikipagkumpitensya ako sa kabila,” Miller said, according to ABS-CBN News.
Furthermore, she said that what she has right now is all because of her own work. She added that people notice that she has talent and potential.
Being that her stint in a men’s magazine will undoubtedly be compared to Cruz and her posing for FHM, Miller said that the people can compare and she is not afraid to be compared to Cruz.
She said that people can say what they want but with her, it is all just part of work.
The 22-year-old actress said that she is thankful that despite the controversy, she is getting projects.
“Thankful ako kay God kasi despite sa mga nangyayari sakin ngayon, napansin ko kasi parang the more na binabato ako ng intriga, the more ang binibigay sa akin,” she told members of the press.
“Parang yung mga binabato sakin na mga masasakit, pinapalitan ni God ng blessings. Nakikita niya kung gaano ko talaga gusto maabot ang trabaho ko. Sobrang happy ako,” she added.
She did admit, however, that there was a time she felt she could not handle the criticisms thrown her way.
She said that at first, she was brave but there came a time when she gave up.
Miller said during the interview that what got to her was when her parents started getting criticism because of the issue between her, Montano and Cruz.
When that moment came, Miller said that it was her parents who helped her.
“Nung dumating sa point na sumuko ako, nawalan ako ng gana na parang hindi ko na kaya ang ganitong buhay, yung parents ko yung nagbigay sakin ng lakas ng loob,” she said adding that her parents became her motivation.
Nonetheless, Miller says that now she just ignores criticisms online.
She recounted that at the start of each day, there are many accounts on Instagram who still criticize her.
“Dedma na,” she said. “Siraan nila ako ng siraan, gawin nila lahat ng kaya nilang gawin basta ako kung ano ang pangarap ko, doon ako.”
