Karylle Posts On Instagram Amid Rift With Vice GandaKarylle has seemingly broken her silence when she posted a photo on her Instagram account with the caption "choose love." The photo was of another message written on the sand--a peace sign, a heart symbol and the letter "u."
Vice earlier admitted that he and Karylle had a misunderstanding because of two reasons: one, because Karylle did not attend the victory party of "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy" and two, because Yael Yuzon, Karylle's fiance, disapproved of the ViceRylle loveteam.
Vice shared that the victory party for his highly successful MMFF entry happened near Karylle's place in Ortigas, but the singer-TV host admitted she was just too lazy to get out of the house and attend the party, which is important to her friend.
After that, they set aside the issue because of what happened to their "It's Showtime" co-host Vhong Navarro. However, the show's director revealed to Vice that Karylle told him how her fiance, Yael, is uncomfortable with the love team formed by Vice and Karylle.
According to Vice, this is what Yael said: "Sa dinami-dami naman ng ipapartner sa fiance ko, sa bakla pa." Vice, known to be sensitive to jokes against his gender, did not take this kindly.
The comedian-TV host furthermore said in a separate interview that the loveteam is actually more helpful to Karylle than him, especially since he's gay and he's not a drama actor also.
"Ayaw kong sabihin, pero let’s face it, let’s be realistic, mas makakatulong ‘yon sa kanya [Karylle] kaysa sa akin. Huwag niyo naman sana masamain ang sinabi ko."
Vice said he doesn't need to convince anyone that he's in love with a partner or that he likes a certain actress because he made his name not as a heartthrob or a teen star.
"Hindi ko kailangang manloko ng mga tao na sweet-sweet-an kami nito."
True enough, Vice has etched a name for himself for starring in highly successful movies such as "Sisterakas," "Praybeyt Benjamin" and "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy." These were all top-grossing films.
But despite the misunderstanding between them, Vice clarified he is not angry at Karylle and that they have already talked about the issue. He even wished Karylle good luck on her impending marriage. It is not clear if Vice is invited or if he will be attending the wedding in March.
Meanwhile, Karylle's mother, Zsa Zsa Padilla aired her concerns over the feud on Instagram. But during times of troubles, the Divine Diva said she just seeks "Jesus for answers."
This is what she posted: "He who covers an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends."
