Vhong Navarro Is In Vice Ganda's Concert During Alleged Rape Of A Beauty QueenNetizens have been scouring the Internet for evidence that "It's Showtime" host Vhong Navarro was a guest at Vice Ganda's concert in Cavite during the date former beauty queen Roxanne Acosta said she was raped.
According to the affidavit, Roxanne was raped on April 24, 2010 after she met Vhong on the ABS-CBN's noontime show where the contestants of Slimmer's World Miss Bikini Philippines guested.
Vhong apparently asked for her number through a staff, which Roxanne gave because she was flattered by the attention. Later on, Vhong texted her and asked if he can meet her in her hotel room.
Roxanne declined, so Vhong told her to meet him somewhere outside the hotel. They circled around the block until Vhong parked under a tree near the hotel.
The former beauty queen, who was ejected from the contest because of her leaked nude photos, said she was raped inside Vhong's car. At that time, she cannot resist the TV host because she was afraid of his driver/bodyguard who was just waiting outside.
But according to a YouTube video and also to a past tweet by Callalily's Kean Cipriano, Vhong was a guest at Vice's concert in Island Cove in Cavite. Posters and press releases from the organizers showed that the concert started at 8PM.
A video on YouTube showed that Vhong was indeed in the concert, which some said ended past midnight. Kean's tweet on 2:20AM of April 25 hinted that the concert went on until the wee hours of the morning. He said at that time that he just arrived home. He even congratulated Vhong and Vice.
Netizens then took to social networking sites again to compare this particular incident to Deniece Cornejo's "one-minute-rape" allegations. Deniece was the model Vhong allegedly raped last January 22 inside her condo unit in Taguig City. That is where the TV host was mauled and attacked by Deniece's rumored boyfriend and benefactor, Chinese businessman Cedric Lee.
As of press time, Vhong and his camp have not confirmed whether or not the TV host was really at Vice's concert during that night.
