Anne Curtis Open Up About What She Learned From Slapping IncidentAnne Curtis thought it was the end of her career when the slapping incident involving John Lloyd Cruz, Jake Cuenca and other showbiz personalities happened in November last year.
Anne received backlashes from netizens when it happened, with some saying she lacks breeding and education. Some also said Anne's "true colors" were seen when the slapping incident happened.
The actress learned not to go on a diet anymore, and to know her limitations when going out. During an explanation on her Twitter account, Anne said she was on the third day of the Juju Cleanse diet when the incident happened. This caused her to be cranky and for the alcohol she consumed that night to easily intoxicate her.
Anne slapped John Lloyd and two other personalities in the Prive Luxury Club in Taguig City after apparently being pranked by John Lloyd and Jake.
Jake and John Lloyd refused to comment on the issue. Jake even said he was not in the bar when that happened.
"Talagang there is a lesson learned and from there, I picked myself up. I was at a low point. Akala ko talaga wala na, end na po talaga ng career ko."
Anne said she is thankful to the people who supported her through that ordeal. Her family and her boyfriend, Erwan Heussaff, were there for her.
Now, she's busy with her new soap opera "Dyesebel." Her teleserye trended last night on Twitter, and got high ratings, way above GMA-7's "Kambal Sirena."
