Dennis Trillo Does Not Want To Get Back With Ex-Girlfriends

Dennis Trillo said he does not want to get back with his ex-girlfriends, especially Jennylyn Mercado and Cristine Reyes, who are both single right now. "Hayaan mo sila!" Jennylyn broke up with Luis Manzano last year while Cristine has been single since breaking up with Rayver Cruz.

The Kapuso actor appreciates his time alone. Whenever he has a girlfriend, it's either he tends to give all his time to her and he slacks off at work or he pushes himself too much at work that he fails to take care of her.

For now, being single is okay for Dennis since he can do whatever he wants to do. He likes handling his time on his own. There are no distractions, and his only inspiration is his family, he added.

It's not that he is not being inspired by his girlfriend. Dennis said he has a problem with time management, and that's why it's better for him to be single.

It doesn't bother him that his relationships seem to always fail. Some of his ex-girlfriends, aside from Jennylyn and Cristine, are Bianca King and Carlene Aguilar.

"Well, siguro hindi lang talaga laan. At siguro nangyari yun dahil may mga kailangan pa ako matutunan. Siguro blessing in disguise yung mga yun na matutunan ko yung lessons na dapat ko matutunan."

He's a better person now because of all those lessons, Dennis said.

Meanwhile, Dennis is also busy with his new indie film under the direction of Mike Tuviera for Cinemalaya 2014. He's excited to do an action-based role, especially after doing a gay role in GMA-7's "My Husband's Lover" last year.

It's not that doing a completely different role is intended, Dennis said. It just so happened that something like this was offered to him. This is the perfect role after "My Husband's Lover." Dennis wants the people to forget about his gay role in the GMA-7 top-rating teleserye.

Although he's comfortable in gay roles, it doesn't mean that he must always act like that. "Gusto ko, as much as possible, iniiba ko para kapag napanood ng tao, gusto ko yung reaksyon nila, ‘Uy, ngayon ko lang siya nakitang ganyan!’"

He always makes it sure to make an effort for the public and his viewers. He wants them to see a different side of him.

Before doing the book 2 for "My Husband's Lover," GMA-7 is planning to give Dennis, Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez different projects.
