JC De Vera Learns To Be Patient About His CareerJC de Vera knows that in the showbiz industry, you have to be patient in order to get what you want. Although it took a while before he received the offer for his project, "The Legal Wife," the actor said he doesn't mind this because he knows that it will be worth it.
Aside from "The Legal Wife," he is also going to do the afternoon soap "Moon of Desire" with Ellen Adarna.
"Well, ever since very patient naman ako sa pagpasok ng mga project. Kapag wala, e, di wala. Ganun mo dapat siya tanggapin."
He is not expecting that he will receive many projects nor will is he expecting to have only good projects from the network. "Naghihintay ako kung ano ang ibibigay sa akin. Kung meron, e, di thank you."
But right now, JC is very blessed and thankful for all that's happening in his career. He feels overwhelmed with the projects being given to him. He learned the patience of virtue in the showbiz industry.
"Hindi ka puwede talaga na nagmamadali. Kapag dumating yung time mo, darating talaga."
He never complained about waiting because he's very patient. Whatever is given to him, he accepts and doesn't complain.
JC said he is quite tired these days because he has been taping for two teleseryes. But it's not every day that he gets to have this kind of opportunity. JC is thankful to ABS-CBN for giving him these projects.
"Mahirap ang ipinapagawa nila sa akin pero kayang-kaya."
Since he started doing two shows, his dreams and goals got bigger. He is sure he won't get burned out because he will be able to save a lot.
JC sees no problem in competing with other Kapamilya stars. "Ang kalaban ko talaga all the time is sarili ko."
He's just doing his job. Every day, all he thinks about is working and he doesn't think about trampling upon others.
The truth is, JC is happy with even just one show. Having two shows is already too much of a blessing for him.
