Tom Rodriguez Is Happy With Kaye RiveraTom Rodriguez doesn't want to talk about his lovelife, but he said he is happy with fellow Kapuso star Kaye Rivera, 22.
As much as possible, Tom wants his lovelife to remain private, so that the intrigues will not affect his relationships. Also, this will help him manage his priorities well.
It's better if he can compartmentalize. This is the same thing that he agreed with his family and loved ones. "I will choose to keep it separate na lang, whatever I have personally na ganoon, para meron na rin ako para sa sarili ko."
Even when he wasn't in showbiz yet, he is not the kind of person who will show his emotions in public. He doesn't do PDA (public display of affection), he added. Whatever is normal and natural, that's what he wants.
"I don’t deny anything naman, e. I would just rather keep it to myself."
Kaye, known also as K-La Rivera, was a former contestant of ABS-CBN's singing competition, "Star Power: Sharon's Search For The Next Female Pop Superstar." She was then next seen as a guest VJ in MYX Channel and as a performer in the weekly musical-variety show, "ASAP."
Just this February, she was launched as a part of GMA-7's "Sunday All Stars." She will also be a part of Marian Rivera's "Carmela."
Tom and Kaye starred in the musical production of "Aladdin" of Atlantis Productions in 2012. Asked if he is open to working with her again, Tom said he'd love to. He has worked with her even before "ASAP," and he remembered how joyful it was to work with her in "Aladdin."
Tom was given two awards by the PEPsters' Choice Awards of PEP List on March 27--Breakout Star of the Year and Celebrity Pair of the Year together with Dennis Trillo for "My Husband's Lover."
The actor said he's flattered because it was the PEPsters who voted for him. He feels happy that his audience appreciates what he does. It feels good, he said.
He extended his gratitude to the people who supported him and Dennis. Even after the end of "My Husband's Lover," there were a lot of people who continue to support them and patronize their works.
Although there is no schedule yet for "My Husband's Lover Part 2," Tom said he's open to work with Dennis again in another project--even an episode of "Magpakailanman."
