Manny Pacquiao Holds Successful Auction For Yolanda VictimsThe Manny Pacquiao Foundation had a successful charity auction for the victims of Typhoon Yoland in Visayas. The event was held in the house of Victorino Noval in Beverly Hills, California last April 15.
Each attendant in the event paid $1,000 for the privilege. Manny's bloodied boxing trunks on his second fight with Timothy Bradley at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada was bought for $40,000 while his boxing gloves were bought for $10,000.
Both of those who paid for these items refused to publicize their names.
Meanwhile, after the game, Manny spent time at The Grove in Los Angeles, California to buy pants and shirts for the 50-member Team Pacquiao, his entourage. Some said Manny spent $20,000 that day.
He bought a pair of Ferragamo shoes for himself.
After shopping at Nordstroms, Team Pacquiao went to the Apple store where Manny bumped into Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber. The singer gamely posed for a picture with the Filipino boxing icon.
Both forgot the controversies that surrounded Justin's idolization of Floyd Mayweather Jr., who refused to fight Manny in the ring. Justin posted before a series of photos and memes making fun of Manny when he fell on the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez.
Justin's camp was the one who released the photo.
