Jericho Rosales Explains Hectic Schedule Of "The Legal Wife"The reason why "The Legal Wife" cast has been in a tight schedule was because of the various delays in production and the airing. It has nothing to do with its lead star's, Jericho Rosales', upcoming wedding to Kim Jones this May 1.
Jericho explained that "The Legal Wife" should have ended months ago, but because of "internal problems" and Typhoon Yolanda, it was pushed to start airing in January.
It coincided with the soap Jericho was also doing in Malaysia. So on top of preparing for his wedding with Kim, the actor also has to do two soaps--"The Legal Wife" and the Malaysian teleserye.
Jericho said he cannot move his wedding date, and that is why everything was scheduled to end before it. It's not that ABS-CBN is trying to give him a special treatment, but it's just what they agreed upon before.
For the past four months, Jericho has been flying in and out of the country. His life has been hotels, airports and sets. He barely goes home, he added.
Jericho admitted that "The Legal Wife" taping has been compromised because of his impending marriage. But only for a few days, he added. They have such a tight schedule that whatever they shoot in the morning, they had to air that evening.
Jericho and Kim decided to postpone their honeymoon, so that he will only be gone for a few days.
Jericho and Kim will be married in Boracay. Afterwards, they will go back to Manila to rest for a bit then, the actor has to go back to work.
He denied speculations that "The Legal Wife" will end in May since they still have taping days next month. Kim agreed to postpone their trip to give way to this project.
"It’s a little bit frustrating on my side, I guess. Hindi namin maiwasan kung ano yung nangyaring problema. But she [Kim] was very understanding."
"The Legal Wife" production sent Kim a bouquet of flowers for offering to delay their honeymoon trip.
