Rafael Rosell Is Happily In LoveRafael Rosell is in love with his rumored girlfriend, Fil-Canadian Olivia Medina. He said he is very inspired because all his relationships are "happy" now.
"Lahat ng mga kakilala ko masasaya sa buhay nila, walang mga problema." It's very fulfilling for him to know that all his friends are happy with their respective lives. His friends even go to him for life advice.
Rafael described Olivia as "good" and someone who has a "beautiful mind." He learned a lot from her just by talking and bonding.
When one finds a person that can lift you, then "you stick with that person," Rafael said. In fact, the actor said he cannot remove the smile from his face.
"When you have a diamond, don't go chasing glitters. Alam mo yun, a lot of people don't know what they have and chase something they think is better only to end up with the worse."
He and Olivia started dating last year and up until now, they are still in the getting-to-know-you stage. "So far, so good."
For now, Rafael is still focused on his career. He can say that the chances are big that Olivia will be the one for him. But when it comes to marriage, Rafael said he wants to focus on his career first.
What's important is that they enjoy the company of each other and they support each other. "But it's still a very light and very brief..."
Although they don't have marriage in their minds right now, Rafael doesn't believe in playing and fooling around. He doesn't want to enter into a relationship not thinking that it won't end up to something more serious.
"We're together now and, yeah, I would think na sana kami na nga. Pero, like what I said, we have a young relationship. So, marami pa ang puwedeng mangyari along the way, 'di natin talaga alam."
Rafael hasn't met Olivia's parents in Canada yet. He only talked to them through Skype. They make him feel that they like him though. He had a good first impression of Olivia's family, the actor added.
Olivia, on the other hand, met Rafael's parents already. She was able to meet his mother although his dad was in Singapore. His mother, Rafael added, says a lot of good things about her.
Rafael is currently starring in the GMA-7 soap "The Borrowed Wife." It's a great experience, he said, because he is honored that a lot of people are praising their show.
He is sad though that the show will be ending soon. Rafael expressed his gratitude to his fans and those who supported the teleserye.
"At saka sa set mismo, ang trabaho ay hindi nagiging trabaho kundi fun na para sa aming magkakasama. So, ang daming mami-miss ko talaga."
He will surely miss his co-stars--TJ Trinidad, Camille Prats and Pauleen Luna.
